Design can be art. Design can be aesthetics.
Design is so simple, that’s why it is so complicated.

Process

Design is a process. It requires being curious, imaginative and not being afraid to explore different ideas. Every project is unique, but I approach each one with the same process. It is simple:  Learn, Think and Design.

Learn

1To be able to fully create your vision, I need to understand all of the details about your project. Research is a vital key to coming up with successful solutions to your design problems. Constant conversation and feedback allows us to be on the same page throughout the project.

Think

2Once I have gained an understanding of your design problem, I can begin brainstorming. This phase focuses on generating ideas and sketching. All I need is graph paper and a sharpie and I am ready to go.

Design

3This is the fun part–implementing the design solutions. I begin by narrowing down the ideas and choosing ones that will be the most successful. Feedback is crucial during this phase, because it allows me to tweak and revise the designs so that they can be utilized to their fullest potential.
